General conditions

These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between the Hof van In and tenants.

  • The suites can only be reserved after payment.
  • (If with deposit: )The outstanding balance of the rent and the deposit must be paid no later than 1 month before the start of the stay.
    If the reservation is made at less than 1 month before the start of the stay, the deposit and the full amount must be paid within 3 days after approval of the reservation.
  • Tenants will receive confirmation of reservation by email.
  • The deposit is a fixed amount of 200 euros / rental period
  • The deposit will be refunded within 7 days of the tenant’s departure if all obligations have been met.
  • Upon departure, the suite, furniture, various appliances, etc. are to be left tidy by the renter.
    All food must be removed from cabinets, refrigerator and freezer.
  • Animals are not allowed
  • Smoking in the building is strictly prohibited.
  • The maximum number of people per suite is 2.
  • The landlord is not liable and takes no responsibility for:
  • Eventual accidents, injury, loss, damage, inflicted by or to the persons residing in the apartment or any other person.
  • Damage to third parties, loss of personal property.
  • Noise due to traffic, construction, neighbors, etc… in and around the building.
  • The disabling or rendering inoperative of technical equipment in the suites, temporary failure or malfunction in and around the suites of water and/or power supply, street work not announced in advance and construction work around the building.
  • Obvious errors or mistakes on the website or other notices.
  • Accidents in or around the apartment.

The tenant is jointly and severally liable for:

  • All loss and/or damage to the Leased Premises and its inventory, whether resulting from acts or omissions of the tenant or third parties who are in the Leased Premises with the tenant’s consent.
  • In case of improper use or improper abandonment of the rented apartment, the tenant may be charged additional costs.
  • Landlord will make every effort to provide accurate information to Tenant, but is not liable for any unexpected inaccuracies and/or omissions in the information provided.
  • Arrival and departure times will be confirmed in writing or by email.
  • On the day of arrival, you can enter the suite from 3 p.m. onwards.
  • On the day of departure, you must leave the premises no later than 10:00 am.

Cancel

  • If, for any reason, the renter declines to rent a suite or the wellness accommodation, the renter must notify the landlord immediately.
  • A telephone communication of this must be confirmed in writing or by e-mail.
    However, he remains liable for the following amount:

30% of the rent if cancelled between reservation and 6 weeks before start.

40% of the rent if cancelled between 6 weeks and 5 weeks before the start.

50% of the rent if cancelled between 5 weeks and 4 weeks before the start.

60% of the rent if cancelled between 4 weeks and 3 weeks before the start.

75% of the rent if cancelled between 3 weeks and 2 weeks before the start.

90% of the rent for cancellation between 2 weeks and 1 week before the start.

100% of the rent for cancellation in the last week before the start!

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance and cancellation insurance from your insurance broker.

Acceptance

  • If the tenant does not meet these conditions or the landlord has costs due to breach of contract, loss, damage or the like, the costs will be reimbursed by the tenants.
  • These terms and conditions are accepted by the lessee at the time of payment
